How long does a milestone session last?

Milestone sessions are designed to capture the special moments of your little one as they grow and develop. A full milestone session usually lasts about an hour, while a mini milestone session is around 30 minutes. If you're interested in adding a cake smash, it usually takes an additional 30 minutes.

How many outfit changes can I have?

For full milestone sessions, I don't set a limit on outfit changes, but 3 outfits tend to work well. For mini milestone sessions, the limit is 1-2 outfits. I also have a growing studio wardrobe for clients 18 months and younger that you can choose from. Just have a look at the Girl and Boy Outfits collection. Some parents choose to use only my studio wardrobe, which is great!

Who can be included in a milestone session?

A mini milestone session is best for 1-2 children, and it's a great way to celebrate a child's milestone while also including a few sibling shots. A full milestone session can include all siblings, or focus on one child's milestone with sibling shots, or anything in between. Families are welcome to take a family portrait during a full or mini milestone session, but if you would like a variety of family portraits, it is best to book a family session. Please note that these must all take place during the same session and can not be split into two dates.

The warm and golden look in a lot of my photos comes from ideal lighting conditions that take place around an hour or two before sunset. So, my availability is based around this.
